If you want to know exactly what you can do, take a look at the official website. There is an article here.
And some dragons are visible (Drakkar Lake) so it's not true that "nobody even knows they are there".
It would be nice if there is a link to gw2 in the next event. But I don't think there will be one. We'll know in a couple of days ^^

I am looking forward to the new mask and bumping up my lucky title. As for GW2, at this point I could not care less.

Besides the dragons dont even rise in our characters lifetime. Nobody even knows they are there so it would be impossible to tie them in.

Aren't Glint and Kuunavangs dragons?
And well, I'm not expecting a super cool mask from A-net. They'll probably give us an old reskin of the Lion's mask or something. Should just go with a barney costume or something.

What I'm looking forward to is a word on GW2 at PAX '08. We'll know in a few months.

The festival marks the anniversary of establishing the settlement on Shing Jea Island as well as the expansion of Kaineng City to accommodate the refugees from the areas hit hardest by the Jade Wind. The Dragon Festival has come to symbolize the survival of the Empire of the Dragon (Cantha) in the face of that calamity.

When did Glint or Kuunavang have any connection to GW2 or the dragon festival whatsoever? and dont say "because they are dragons".
Also does everyone just ignore the main sites event page on it?

That could be anything. Even Abaddon's Hair. You see his hair in Elona, Desolation areas. More than likely, his ,,trademark hive'' shattered through realms into UW.
Or bones of the extinct Giants.

Sigh, as always.... Dragon Festival = Über Lagfest
Just tried Vloxen in HM and were kicking ass until I hit level 3 along with a 50k ping which was followed promptly by Agent 007.
Of course, everyone else was fine. >_>

I'm somewhat excited for the festival. It's my first time playing again in a few months and it was a pleasant surprise to notice that a party will be taking place just a day after my return. Kind of like a welcome back party.
